Meet Dexter! This distinguished gentleman is very calm and loves everyone. He had a tough life before being rescued and is now looking for his forever home and family to safely live out the rest of his days. Because of his past, he had to have his ear canal surgically removed due to an untreated ear infection but we think it just adds to his charm! Dexter is a medium haired kitty who loves to be brushed and will take a good chin scratch over toys any day. Rubbing his belly is a quick way to win him over. His favorite pastime is relaxing on the top bunk on the cat tower keeping an eye what’s going on around him, second only to making some pretty darn good biscuits! He is such friendly guy and is amazing with all other animals and kids. Will you give this extra special boy a forever home?
Potential adopters should know that Horner’s syndrome is common in cats who have had removal of ear canals. Horner’s syndrome is a disorder that could affect eyes and face muscles. If it should occur, it does not require treatment. Dexter does not currently have symptoms of Horner’s.
