My Story

Tiny baby, Desert Sand, is the smallest of his litter. He looks off white, but he has orange coloring on his tail and ears, and would probably be considered a flame point siamese mix. Desert Sand and his siblings--Desandro, Desert Storm, Desiree, Desperado, and Destiny--are very frightened at this time, as they were just taken away from their wild mama (who was spayed, vaccinated, and taken to live on a small farm). Mom has been fed by a kind young woman (Desiree) who felt sorry for the pregnant dilute torti. The kittens had never been handled until we took them on May 29 & 30. Their appproximate DOB is 4-25-09. They are eating baby food, canned food, and a little dry kitten chow at this time. Depending on how quickly they adapt, they may be available for adoption the 2nd week of June. Desert Sand's adoption fee is $90, which will include his neutering when he's old enough, his first distemper combo shot (6-7-09), and deworming (6-7-09). Mom tested negative for feline leukemia/FIV on June 1, 2009. For more information on this little one, please contact [email protected] or call Jann at 517-410-0074. A phone call will usually get faster response evenings and weekends. "Sandy" was adopted on 6-7-09.
