Des is a suuuper chill 6-year-old kitty looking for her forever home. Des is named after 2018 Boston Marathon Champion, Des Linden! Des is a gray tabby girl with little white socks. When she walks in, she owns the place. She works the room. She draws the attention into her and LOVES it. If you sit on the couch, Des will be in your lap nuzzling for attention. She gets a little salty if you stop petting her for too long! She is not afraid of meeting new people. Des is a simple kitty who likes to lay around with her humans. She isn't the most playful, but she does enjoy the laser pointer occasionally. She and her brother Yuki were adopted into a loving home about 5 years ago from another rescue, but their family became unable to care for them after a change in their health. Des would do well as an only cat, or with kitty friends who give her space and let her independent side shine. Des is currently up for adoption at the Royal Oak Petsmart (27942 Woodward). Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.
