Hello! My name is Dendra! I'm a female short haired black kitty born approx. 10/13/2021. I am a quiet, reserved gal who likes a gentle greeting, being brushed and lots of love. I have learned a lot during my time at Wild Blue, and I am comfortable with soft rubs on my neck and pets all over. I'll lean in and may even roll over and share air biscuits. Initially, it took me some time to feel at ease around the human activity around me, and I still prefer to find a quiet area in the room to chill. Once I'm comfortable though, my inner desire to play comes forth, and a quiet wand toy with feathers will always entice me to join the game. I was born and raised in Peyton, CO inside our owner's home, and I came to Wild Blue Cats with many of my relatives and with my five kittens after our owners lost their home and needed help. We had been left alone in our home for a period of time, and needed some time to reacquaint ourselves with human company. Our home had many other cats, so I was used to being with others and enjoyed the companionship. I had been exposed to two golden retrievers in the home as well. As I blossomed, I found a new home with other kitties, and although I was fine with the male kitty, I didn't find peace with the older female cat in the home. We all tried our best, but in the end, I returned to Wild Blue to try again. I have shared my new space at Wild Blue with others again without issues, and I would love to find a new home to call my own. Starting me in a small space with a nice kitty bed but with no real places to hide behind or under will make me get comfortable faster. I'd do best in a calm home with an experienced cat owner and kids older than 12 who can give me the time and space I need to feel secure. Do you have space in your heart and home for me to relax? Introductions with any other pets should follow WBCats instructions and be slow and gradual. I am up to date on my vaccinations, tested negative for FIV/FELV. I have had my vet exam, been dewormed, and been microchipped and spayed.
