Meet Delphine! Please note, all our kittens under 6 months old are available in pairs only or to the home with another cat/cat friendly dog. Bonded pairs will not be split up Delphine is approximately 1.5- 2 years old affectionate girl, who came to our rescue on Mother’s Day. Her story is very sad and long, but we will try to keep it short. Delphine was spotted by a Good Samaritan in one of the managed feral cats colonies. She was hiding in the bushes for few weeks and the caretaker was trying her best to feed her separately as the feral cats were chasing her away and constantly attacking her. Few months passed and the feeder noticed that Delphine was loosing weight. She tried her best to owe her trust and one day this beautiful girl ran into her arms and didn’t want to leave. The elderly lady couldn’t take her in, but tried to find the rescue, who would have been able to help this sweet girl. When we found out about her story we immediately agreed to help her and to our surprise Delphine came to us with her 4 little kittens. As soon as the family came to one of our amazing fosters, we received an alarming message- Delphine was severely injured and emaciated. We rushed her to the vet and they immediately started the treatment. Sadly the wound under her arm was very deep and due to the location impossible to operate. We had to make a hard decision and separate her with her kittens as she needed emergency hospitalization. It was a roller coster and we were very nervous we could loose this beautiful girl. Her kittens on the other side were happy and healthy little munchkins and were adopted in pairs. Delphine spent 27 days at the hospital and we were so happy to hear we could bring her home! Now Delphine is healthy affectionate young lady, UTD on shots, spayed, FIV/FeLV negative and microchipped. While Delphine tolerates her foster friend cat Nasya, we think she will do best in a home without any other pets. She loves humans, loves attention and would enjoy your company.
