Delilah

Delilah is looking for a quiet home to retire in. She is a sweet little lady who recently came to Whiskers after her mother was no longer able to care for her. Delilah is 16 and a half years old but you wouldn't know it! She jumps and plays like a spry pre-teen. She's a little bit of a thing, only weighing 5 and a half pounds, but is full of sugar and spice and everything nice. Delilah is in Stage II kidney failure and it is suspected she may have Inflammatory Bowel Disease or Lymphoma but she is currently in stable, in good condition, and not on any medication. At her age, Delilah knows what she likes and she LOVES her Fancy Feast and Temptations. Delilah would benefit from a specialized diet but would need to be transitioned slowly to avoid tummy troubles. This gorgeous gorgeous girl has a big voice and she knows how to use it. She'll tell you when she's hungry or wants attention. She doesn't like being picked up but will quickly claim a lap when presented one. She loves to sit on her foster mom's lap or chest to make biscuits or nap. She currently holds the title of "Senior Biscuit Extraordinaire" in her foster home. She shows her love with headbutts and being as close to you as felinely possible. Delilah previously lived with another cat but enjoys her solitude. She would do best as a solo cat in her retirement home.
