My Story

This most handsome fellow is Delaney. He was found stray and brought in by some people who felt he was much too nice to be homeless.

Delaney is a friendly, happy cat who would very much like to have a family to love. He’s the kind of cat who will curl up beside you and purr through all those Steeler games and sleep at the foot of your bed. Of course, he’d be thrilled with a sunny windowsill so he can watch the world go by, and he was fascinated by all the toys in the playroom. He’s probably never seen toys before.

Delaney is estimated to be only about 3 years old. His markings, though suggestive of a Bengal, are a pattern called broken mackerel tabby – the broken stripes of a tabby look like the spotting on a mackerel or spotted trout.

Delaney is waiting for his very first home AT THE BETHEL PARK PETCO. Volunteers there tell us that he is happy in the company of other cats, and he greets small kittens in the playcage and washes their faces.
