Known as Dathomir, my foster mom affectionately refers to me as Darth because of my all-black coat. I'm a friendly cat who appreciates gentle approaches. While I used to be a little temperamental, using a calming collar has greatly enhanced my demeanor. I love lounging on my foster mom's lap during evening TV time and cuddling by her legs at bedtime. Chin scratches are the best and I absolutely adore them! I'm looking for a family without other pets who will be kind and patient with me.
Almost Home's Adoption Requirements:
Be at least 21 years of age
Have the knowledge and consent of all adults living in the household
Have approval from owner of residence (written in lease)
Have a valid ID with current address
Be approved as a suitable adoptive home by Almost Home Foundation
Be ready to make a lifetime commitment
Live in the suburbs surrounding Chicago (Illinois Residents only)
Pass a veterinarian reference check for current and past pets.
