Darryl Hall

Dashing Darryl is as close as you’re going to get to having a domesticated black panther in your home. Sleek, independent, and confident, it's hard to believe that we found him as a cowering, hissing cat who’d wandered into the hallway of an apartment building. We named him Darryl Hall (get it?) He was super spicy, lashing out at anyone who came near him. But we were convinced there was a loving spirit hiding underneath all that bravado. So, we treated him gently and waited to see how he'd adjust. Turns out, he settled in just fine. After a few weeks, he was playing, exploring, and generally behaving like the regal being that he is. Darryl is looking for a home where he can continue to plan his world…er, apartment domination. He’s a bit of an enigma... A sweetheart who's extremely curious. Also an alpha kitty. Doesn’t crave physical contact, but loves to be in whatever room his humans are in. Darryl would do just fine as a solo cat, soaking up all the human affection. However, he has a real soft spot for kittens. He’s instinctively protective of smaller, younger cats. So he’d be great in a family that already has a kitten and wants a playful, feline buddy to show them the ropes. That said, Darryl’s still got a bit of spice in him, which means he’s probably not the best match for households with smaller, younger humans. Darryl is neutered, healthy and soooo ready for his forever home! Please let us know if you think that might be yours.
