Say hello to the lovely Darcy! This gorgeous 5 year old black and white kitty came to The Cat Connection through a landlord who called in a panic – her tenant had moved out and left Darcy behind with no food or water in 90 degree temps! The Cat Connection immediately came to the rescue and got Darcy out of her hot confines and brought her to the home of a TCC volunteer where she was fed and cared for until she could come to the shelter to find her forever home. Darcy is a majestic Domestic Long Hair kitty with lots of personality. She was likely allowed to go outside – something we do NOT endorse – so she may beg and try to use her big, beautiful eyes to convince you to let her go out. She has adjusted to indoor life for the most part and while she has strong opinions, she is still a sweet and loving lady and will make someone a wonderful companion. Who doesn't love a girl who knows what she wants? She will also inspire comments like: “Have you ever been a model?” She’s that gorgeous! Our policy is to adopt kittens in pairs. We find that kittens are much happier when they have a companion and they tend to expend their youthful energy on each other rather than on your couch! Kittens are adorable, but older cats can be wonderful pets as well and they tend to be overlooked, so please consider adopting an adult cat or two!
