MEET DARBY! This sweet kitty is only 5 months old and was a rescue plea from Hillsborough County Pet Resource Center. She is reported to have fallen 20 feet from a tree and was limping on her left rear leg. Unsurprisingly, her back left femur was broken. Luckily, we were able to get her in quickly with Humane Society of Tampa Bay's Animal Care Center and she had her femur repaired. Darby is spayed, 4lbs, and we are accepting applications for her so she can move into her forever home once she heals. She is a lovebug and now that her leg is fixed, she should live life as a normal kitty. All of our adoptable rescues have a clean bill of health (unless otherwise stated), are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (age-appropriately), tested (FeLV/FIV for cats, HW for dogs over 6 months of age), current on flea and heartworm prevention and microchipped. This is all included in their adoption fee that goes in as a donation to help us cover their medical costs and continue to help other animals in need.
