Danio is a super sweet and chill kitty looking for love! When he first came in, we thought he was a pregnant female. But, nope, turns out he was just a neutered male that seemed to enjoy extra appetizers before his dinners. It stumped us that nobody came looking for him, but we hope he can find a purrfect home soon!
Danio is FIV+ but it's really no big deal! It can lower his immune system, but when he is kept inside (as required anyway) and has regular checkups, he can live a long and normal life, and you would never know the wiser.
The risk of transmission between friendly household cats is low, so he can even go to a home with FIV- cats. It's only transmissible through deep bite wounds (our office cat, Sir Lancelot has FIV and none of our other office cats do.)
