She was very friendly and was chipped - sadly her former owner chose to not come for her. Danari is hoping to find a new home, this time one that lasts forever this time! According to her foster, Danari is quite a character! Her personality can change depending on her mood. When she is relaxed and not stressed, she is very approachable and enjoys chin scratches. She will sometimes curl up in her foster's lap and watch the birds. She likes playtime and is good with new people. Danari is stressed by the two larger resident cats in her foster home, especially when they try to engage her in play. When stressed, she is harder to approach, and she growls and swats. She is not aggressive if her foster lets her be. Danari is good with two foster kittens and two older cats that do not really pay her attention. She also seems to be fine with a dog in her foster home. Simply put, she can be selective on which other animals she feels comfortable with. She would do best in a quieter home as an only kitty or with another low-key cat. In a less stressful environment, she will show her gentler side and truly shine.
