Large and in charge! That's Daisy Mae! She's seemed to crown herself queen of the shelter, and thinks its her job to watch and make sure everything is in order. When we have her out to walk around she patrols every cat room to check on the others. Are they behaving? Is every keeping up with proper hygiene? These are things Daisy Mae makes high priority... when she's not causing mischief herself! At seven years old Daisy is on the cusp of her senior years, but that doesn't slow her down. She'll run from one end of the shelter to the next lickity split! She's becoming more and more accustomed to affection, but still prefers it on her own terms. She appreciates being brushed for a bit, and pet for a bit longer but learning her cues for when she's done is a must. She is spayed and up to date on all her vaccines. A calm home where she can be the boss would be so befitting for Daisy. Being away from the stress of the shelter would do wonders for her. After all there's no way to go but up!
