My name is Daisy. I came from a rescue foster home on the island of Guam where they have very few resources and very few cat adopters. From her foster: Daisy is an independent and beautiful sweet girl who gets along well with other cats and will tolerate dogs that know to leave her alone ;-) She came all the way from the island of Guam, so understandably, she was very shy during her first 30 days in her new home, sticking mostly to her safe space and exploring at night when the house was quiet. That doesn't mean she kept to herself the whole time, on the contrary, she still wanted to get scratches and pets, but she wasn't comfortable with all the noises in our busy home (2 adults, 2 teens, 1 cat, 1 dog). Fast forward to today, Daisy is exploring the house freely, and likes to see what's going on in the outside world whether that's sitting on the windowsill or hanging in our covered patio. Her cat perch is in my home office and sometimes she'll ask for attention or jump on my desk to say hi. She'll fine now hanging with the family, and even walk by the dog who knows to leave her alone. She is low energy like most cats but she will play with you if you engage her with toys and she will also engage play with my 8 year old tabby. Daisy doesn't like loud noises, so she'd prefer a quieter/calmer household than mine. She's fine with a dog that can respect her space and she's good with other cats, but she'd be fine as an only cat too.
