Daffy

Momma cat Daffy is just a kitten herself at likely just 10 months old. She has overcome a lot, having come to us with such matted hair and being so underweight she could barely move and didn’t much like being touched or being around other animals. In time, she has shown us her sweet affectionate side, and what a good momma she is. She slowly warmed up to our cat, and has been around dogs and children. After several weeks, she really warmed up to the kids and started talking to us with her sweet flutter pur, seeking out attention by rubbing up against your legs. Her demeanor has gotten warmer with time, as she has become more comfortable. She will be the first one to greet you, and she is happy to get all the petting she can. She can startle easily, which has decreased over time, but she may need some time to warm up to other pets. She lets you hold her, but not for very long. She has an independent side, but she really likes to be petted and talked to. Her fur is still growing back from needing to be shaved but it will be long and beautiful again soon. Daffy's adoption fee is $50. She is fixed, vaccinated, chipped, Felv/Fiv negative, and had a wellness exam. We are accepting applications until Thursday at 5 pm. Decisions will be made by Friday afternoon and adoptions are on Sunday. For cats and kittens we do not do meet and greets. We are also not first come first serve.
