Hi - I am Curious! Curious and her sister, Brave, were born in November 2023 and came to us when their family had to move and couldn't take them along. Curious is beautiful, loving and full of fun. She loves to play, explore and, of course, snuggle. She would love it if you have another cat or if you took her sister home when you come to adopt her. Come on down and meet Curious - she is wondering about you too and hoping you want to be her new best friend! :) All pets adopted from the Humane Society of Freeborn County will be spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, testing and will be microchipped. All of this is included in their adoption fee. Fill out an application to adopt at freeborncountyhs.org When transitioning your new pet home please allow for at least 4-6 weeks for your pet to adjust to their new home. They will need this time to decompress, and adjust to a new routine and environment. During that time we will provide check ins and counseling to ensure a successful transition. Please review all basic adoption requirements listed on our website before applying. We take finding the right homes for the animals in our care very seriously. They deserve nothing but the best! Please allow 2-7 days for applications to be processed. If an animal is listed in foster care, these pets are not at our facility, but are in foster care homes. They are still available for adoption, and meet and greets are done with pre-approved applicants only.
