Meet Cupcake: The Curious Little Observer Hi there! I'm Cupcake, also affectionately known as Cuppy Cake. - Who Am I? With my sleek grey fur and petite build, I'm the epitome of a graceful little feline. My bright yellow eyes are always sparkling with curiosity, ready to explore every nook and cranny of my surroundings. - My Spirit: I embody a gentle soul with a dash of playfulness. Shy and timid at first, I take my time to get to know my surroundings and the people in them. Once comfortable, my cuddly and affectionate side comes out, along with a playful curiosity that makes every day an adventure. I'm observant and a bit nosy--always keen to know what's happening around me. - What I Love: I have a hearty appetite and am not picky about food--every meal is a joy! I love taking long naps, preferably somewhere I can bask in the sun or gaze out a window. Peace and quiet soothe my soul, although I'm always up for a climb on my cat tower. Scratching cardboard, chasing balls, batting at bottlecaps, and tinkling bells are among my favorite activities. And of course, there's no one I'd rather share all this with than my sister, Frosting. - My Story: Frosting and I have been together since we were kittens, once left behind when our previous owner chose a new pet over us. The kind folks at Waterloo Press took us in, giving us a warm place to grow up as their cherished mascots. Now, with the press closing, we find ourselves seeking a new chapter where we can be loved just as much. Are you ready to open your home and heart to a duo of sweetness? An adoption application can be filled out on the DHS website https://www.dekalbhumanesociety.org/adopt. Dog adoption fees are $250.00 for all puppies and adult dogs. Seniors are a donation of choice. Cats and kittens are a free will donation.
