My Story

Meet Grasshopper & Cricket! These two handsome boys have returned from their foster home and are ready to meet their fur-ever family! You'll notice fairly quickly that little Grasshopper is unique--he's a tripod! This sweet boy needed his back leg amputated but he has recovered amazingly and is doing so well learning to navigate this world as a three-legged cat. Though he's brave and ambitious, his future family will need to be patient with him and help him adjust to his new home. We recommend a one-story home to make it easier for Grasshopper. Amputees are also prone to early-onset joint pain, so these are things potential adopters should keep in mind. These brothers are very bonded and therefore they must go home together. Thankfully, this bonded pair has had generous donors cover their adoption costs! Grasshopper's amputation is an added cost to the adoption, but at this point, it is the only cost! If you're interested in this fun and sweet pair of kittens, stop by the shelter today and speak with a Cattery staff member!
