Cote is an extremely lovely cat whose owner had to give him up when she went into a nursing home.
He is 8+ years-old and looking for a
second start on life in a new home where he can settle into the quiet life once again. Cote is shy on first approach but you can tell he has so much love to give as you spend more time with him. When you first meet him you are struck by his wonderful green eyes and then by his adorable pink nose and the gentle way by which he says hello. He loves to have his face and head pet while he purrs so loudly the entire room can hear. It is quite endearing! Cote likes soft voices and gentle quiet time so we are looking for a home where he doesn't have to deal with the commotion of a large family bounding in and out. The ideal for Cote is a home where he has one or two owners and plenty of warm little spots to take naps. We think he would do fine with another cat but maybe one on the older side so he is not expected to "play" with the energy of a young cat. Make sure and stop in to meet Cote in our Main Cat Room as soon as you can.
