Hi, I'm Copernicus (or Co"purr"nicus), named after the famous astronomer. My brothers and sister were rescued from under a backyard shed in the heat of the summer with no mom in sight. It has been a long road for us. We were very frightened but soon found lots of love and attention in our foster home. We have been around adult cats in our foster home and we like them a lot. I am a little shy and will need some time to adjust to a new home. My ideal home would be with one of my brothers, Galileo and Archimedes or my sister Lowell. One way my foster mom got me to be more playful and trusting was by playing "the hair tie game" with us. She has lots of soft hair ties. She would gather them up and then flip them in the air or up against the wall for us to chase. (We haven't figured out that it would be easier for her if we brought them back to her!) I have been tested for Felv, neutered, microchipped and I have had all of my kitty vaccines. My adoption fee is $150, but if you adopt me with another LTD kitten, the fee for two of us is only $200.
