Cooper

Meet Cooper! One of our volunteers was surprised to find a young cat hiding under her car...and yes, it was a Mini-Cooper! He readily accepted pets and food...lots of food! He was hungry and underweight. Cooper had likely been on his own for a few weeks. He was taken in and given the Executive Suite and all the food he wanted. No one ever reached out looking for him, so he was taken in by the rescue. He was checked out by the vet and was quite healthy except for one small toe injury. Cooper is now ready for his own home. He gets along with most of the cats in his foster home. He likes chasing his tail and small toys. He is a quiet cat and only meows when hungry. He would be happy as an only cat as long as he had enough human attention, but he'd be perfectly happy with a buddy or two as well. Cooper may not be a lap cat but likes to sit with his foster mom to watch TV at night. He definitely likes to be around his people - just not on top of them. Cooper is currently in a foster home. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.
