Cookie

Friends,
You may remember my plea for this sweet girl a couple of weeks ago. She is currently being fostered by my Mom and doing great. This is our little Cookie. Cookie was dropped off at my vet’s office one morning and her owner said he was going for coffee and would be back for her. He never came back, but called a few hours later, said he was moving and they could just euthanize her. Neither my vet nor I could let that happen…the owner complied in letting us find her another home. I picked Cookie up the next day and she has perked up more & more everyday!!
Cookie is 12-15 years old, spayed and declawed. She currently weighs 6 pounds and is a tiny girl. While she is underweight, I expect her to max out at 8 pounds tops. She has been checked out from top to bottom and has been given the clean bill of health. When we brought Cookie home, we were worried that she was going to not want to live with other animals as we all assumed since he only dropped off one pet, she might have lived alone her whole life. After a week of having her own bedroom, she was more than ready to come out with the entire family and 4-legged crew. Cookie gets along with everyone and truly enjoys the company of the other cats. We would love to find her a home of her own!! Cookie’s favorite place is in your lap. When you call her, she comes running and jumps right in your lap! She is a major snuggle bunny and is enjoying all the attention very much. I’m afraid she didn’t get much up until now.
