My Story

Cookie is around 1 year old. She is spayed, microchipped and fully vaccinated. She had a litter of 5 kittens and was very protective of them, almost what we would call a 'helicopter parent'. Most of her kittens have been adopted. When new kittens are brought into our foster home, it may take her a couple days to get used to them being around, but once she's used to them, she watches over them and has been seen giving them baths and licks on the head. Cookie is a smart girl who is quiet. She communicates by making chirping noises mostly with her brother, Theo, her kittens, and people. She doesn't care for us to pick her up but will let a select few do it! She will brush herself against your legs, chirping when she wants attention quite often. She's not too picky on her food, but she has her favorites. This girl LOVES to play with springs! And will carry them in her mouth chirping and mewing as she carries them around to bat them all around and under furniture. She will also hide them from other cats so that she can keep them for herself. She has been around a dog previously, but it was an older dog. She does shy away from children but is not mean or aggressive. It can take her quite a while to get used to other cats and less time around kittens. Cookie is a quiet girl that loves pets, springs and treats!
