Hello there my name is Cookie!! I am White with black spots. Cookie is looking for a home with another cat that is friendly that he can bond with. When I 1st came into foster care, the foster home had another cat that I took to. He helped give companionship to me and taught me that humans were not bad. Having other cats around has helped me come out of my shell. My social skills were worked on and he I now easy and lovable to approach. He likes to hide in the cat tree cubby and warms up well in his environment once he is familiar with it, as any cat would but he likes to inspect it and hang out in a few places that he turns into his special spots. [He used to try to run, get scared and scale the walls.] He really has came such a long way and deserves a home to call his own. Gets along with: Cats, kids and with dogs that are respectful [do not use their prey drive directed towards cats] Cookie's Story Cookie came from an outdoor colony of 10+ cats. He was on the smaller side and we thought he was a girl until we were able to interact with him. The rest of the colony was not friendly and was Trapped, fixed, vaccinated and returned.. Mr Cookie would come everyday for feeding. He was the only friendly one in the colony and were able to get him to trust his feeder easily. We were determined to help find him an indoor only home where he does not have to live on the streets. When he was 1st brought to us, he would run and hide and scale up things in the room when he was afraid. We have worked on his social skills and he has came a long way since then and does not show this behavior. He is curious and likes to check things out. He is still shy but warms up to you fast. You have to approach him slowly and let him come to you. He adapted to his new foster home in less than a week with multiple other cats, dogs and children in the home. He follows his foster to bed at night and also loves rubbing on your legs. ADOPTION: Adoption fee per cat is $125.
