I thought I had found my perfect retirement home, but then my owner got too sick to take care of me. We were both very sad that we had to part ways. Fortunately I am now in a nice foster home, but I would love a home of my own that has no other pets besides me. After all, I am an old cat and want my peace and quiet.
My wants are simple:
* Using polite but firm mews to let you know when it’s time to cuddle
* Daily constitutionals around the house - a stroll is good for the soul
* Lapping up Hydra Care kitty soup
* Staring out the window
* Sleeping in bed with my human, so I am the first and last face you see each day
I am a senior lady, and have a few health issues. My joints are getting stiff. To keep me comfortable I go to the vet every month and get a shot of Solensia. My kidneys are a bit worn, so I eat prescription food and get subcutaneous fluids daily. My foster mom says I am a very good patient, and she’s happy to show you how to give me fluids.
I am not aggressive toward other cats, I hiss and retreat. In my retirement home, I would love to have a hiss-free experience where I can be the one and only recipient of all the cuddles and treats. Don’t you need a cute old tuxedo cat in your life?
If you'd like to take me home, please fill out an adoption application at this website– www.animalalliesrescue.org/adoption-application – and choose me, Condie! My adoption fee is $50 and AARF wants me to tell you that their adoption package covers all expenses needed to prepare kitties like me for our forever homes. By the time you meet us, we’ve already been spayed/neutered (if age-appropriate) and microchipped. We’ve been checked by a veterinarian, and we’re up to date on age-appropriate immunizations against rabies and FVRCP (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus & panleukopenia). Some of us have had extensive surgeries, dental work, or other necessary procedures. AARF is committed to getting all of us entirely ready for a happy, healthy, love-filled life!
