Meet the one, the only, THE Colonel Mustard! Found as a stray in Pittsburgh last October, Colonel Mustard befriended a kind citizen by simply walking into their home and insisting that he lived there. Not knowing what to do, the concerned community member reached out to us. A neighbor informed us that he had been put outside in the past due to having fleas... Unfortunately, no one stepped up to claim this dapper gentleman, so we moved forward with vetting him for adoption. Colonel Mustard was adopted and sadly returned to us through no fault of his own, as the family's dog did not like him nearly as much as he liked her. For his safety, we happily brought him back into the Sanctuary and decided to give this sweet boy a month or so to decompress in his foster home. Lucky for you, Colonel Mustard is back on the market once again! This handsome knight is sweet, extremely playful, and (if we're being honest), not too smart. ;) Colonel Mustard is a vocal guy who likes to express himself, and is a big fan of anything involving food. He is also incredibly loving, even with the veterinary staff during his visits. Colonel Mustard is looking for a family that has experience with cats, as he can become a little overstimulated at times. He loves to play, and can play hard. The Colonel's perfect match is someone who understands feline body language/behavior. He loves to play with various toys such as plastic springs and catnip mice. He would do well in a home with dogs, cats, and children over the age of 13. This sweet soul has SO MUCH love to give, and he's ready to give it all to you!
