Colonel Fuzzy Bear came to us as an owner surrender in June of 2022 when his owner passed away. Since his owner was a retired Marine, we added the Colonel to the name Fuzzy Bear that he came with as tribute to his late dad.
Fuzzy is still quite shy but he is really starting to show off his personality. Occasionally, you will see him slink through the shelter. He's probably going from one cubby to another. You can't help but stop and notice him though. He is a gorgeous, silver fox and when he's ready, we'll do the best we can to find him his perfect home!
Fuzzy Bear is not a kitty that you can just walk in and adopt based on his looks. We want to make sure he finds a loving adopter that will be patient with him and that he picks them. It's important to ensure that he is adopted for love, not looks. Hint: If you bring him food, it will help!
