Colby Jack came to our rescue on January 16th, 2024 with his friend Noir. Colby came from a home with over 30 cats and the caretakers became very overwhelmed by this.
Unfortunately, Colby Jack tested positive for FIV. This just means that he has a weakened immune system compared to cats that do not have FIV. FIV is only transmitted through DEEP bite wounds and so he can be around negative cats as long as they do not fight. Colby actually is bonded to Noir and so we’re hoping to see them go into a loving home together. Colby is around 7-8 months old.
