My Story

Little miss independent, Cocoa can usually be found off playing or lying by herself in her foster home. She loves to explore and satisfy her curiosity about pretty much everything. But Cocoa certainly does not object to intrusions from her human companions, especially if they are offering love and cuddles. Cocoa and her littermates have played with an older cat who just loves them all but also gave space to another older cat who wasn't a fan. They've also been introduced to a large, cat-savvy dog and did amazingly well. HART requires that young kittens be adopted in pairs unless you have an existing kitten or young cat at home. This policy is NOT based on a desire to increase our number of adoptions. Rather this ensures that the kittens we rescue, nurture, and love are adopted into homes that offer the best possible environment for their social development. Most rescue groups have similar policies regarding kittens. Go to our website, www.hartofme.org, to submit your online application today! ***FKA = Formerly Known As
