Elle a été abandonnée dans une clinique vétérinaire l’année dernière lorsque son précédent propriétaire n’a pas pu payer la chirurgie nécessaire pour retirer un objet étranger de son intestin. Grâce à l’équipe vétérinaire formidable, Coco a subi une opération réussie en septembre 2023 et se porte bien depuis. Coco a une condition appelée Pica et une possible IBD, ce qui signifie qu’elle a tendance à mâcher des objets comme le plastique, les élastiques, les plantes et les petits objets laissés à sa portée. Cependant, sous la surveillance de la clinique, elle n’a ingéré aucun objet nocif et se porte bien dans un environnement animé. Elle mange actuellement de la nourriture Hill’s Biome et la tolère bien. Son traitement médical inclut de la cortisone tous les deux jours et des injections de B12 chaque mois. Idéalement, elle continuerait ce traitement, mais il pourrait être possible de l’adapter et de suivre ses progrès. Coco est une chatte amicale qui aime se promener librement. Elle est à l’aise avec d’autres chats calmes et pourrait s’entendre avec un chien bien élevé. Elle est très curieuse et adore explorer. Elle a tendance à se cacher des enfants et risque davantage d’ingérer des petits morceaux de jouets, donc une maison sans jeunes enfants serait préférable. Coco est dégriffée sur les quatre pattes, donc elle a besoin d’un environnement intérieur sûr où elle peut se sentir en sécurité et aimée.
