Cleopatra

Cleopatra is a simply stunning gal looking for a home that is as quiet and calm as she is. She's approximately 7-8 years old and has lost her family due to no fault of her own. She came to our rescue as a very shy girl who hid for weeks, but with a lot of love and patience, she is slowly gaining confidence and finally showing her true sweet, gentle personality. While she may never be a super outgoing cat, she will greet familiar humans with leg rubs and may even flop over to beg for belly scratches. She is good with other kitties and we would like to see her placed in a home with at least one other friendly, social, accepting feline as she tends to feel more relaxed with them around. Cleo also currently shares a home with two large dogs, and does not seem to mind them too much as long as they respect her space (she would not do well with dogs who want to play with or chase her). We're hoping there's a patient person out there who will give Cleo a peaceful enviornment where she has a chance to become the loving feline companion we know she can be!
