You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Clarissa is an owner surrender due to the owner's death. She came to us in March, 2023, and she is about 10 years of age. Clarissa is declawed. She has tested neg for feline leukemia/FIV, is spayed and is current on shots. When she first arrived, Clarissa was very defensive and afraid. At the time of arrival, one of the relatives of the previous owner said that that was the way she was when she was acquired by the owner. With a little time, Clarissa mellowed out. We are looking for a strictly indoor only home for Clarissa, one that is low-key since that is what she has known her entire life. We think the best home would have no children. Clarissa does have some issues with her litter box--she will urinate in it but will defecate outside the box instead of in it. We are working on getting this behavior corrected. She would do best as an only pet. You must be 21 to adopt from MCHS. Adoption fee is sponsored.
