My Story

Our rescues mean a lot to the vet staff and DunRoamin' volunteers. We do everything we can to find the perfect homes for these pets, who are being given a second chance at a happy life. The application process requires pre-adoption applications, references, and interviews with you and those listed on your application in order to ensure a successful placement. If you are interested in learning more about the pet listed, please complete an application at https://form.jotform.com/60793520585259 and a representative will be in touch! **The email used for listings is not actively monitored and inquiries made through these ads will not receive a reply. On the afternoon of July 3, 2024, we received six kittens from the Bristol area. Their mom had had kittens and they had lived in a basement with little socialization. None had received vet care. Their mother will be spayed with assistance from DunRoamin' to ensure more litters are not born into a similar situation. Cilantro (the only female) and her brothers Mint, Parsley, Aloe, Chives and Cayenne were determined to have been born about April 11, 2024. They have already been examined by their new vet friend at the Florenceville Veterinary Clinic and are on their way to becoming healthy and social little furballs. The boys all have hernias which will be addressed as necessary and if required as they grow. They have begun their initial vaccines and are booked for the remainder of their DunRoamin' protocol which includes full vaccines (including boosters), tests for Feline Leukemia and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, spay/neuters and parasite control. We expect these little ones will be ready for their new homes in mid-to-late August. They are looking forward to loving families where they will be cared for and loved for the rest of their lives!
