My Story

Hi gang! My name is Chris and I was way too busy to sit around for a silly photo shoot so I kept very busy while the photographer was trying to take pictures....Laughed myself silly while they tried to hold me still......I am a dark orange tabby with 4 white paws and swirls instead of stripes...there may have been a Bengal in the family tree somewhere....and I have gorgeous gold eyes...I'm about 4-5 months old and I'm a friendly little boy who needs the purrfect home...have you got one to offer me? I'll be neutered any day now (12/2 or 12/4) and will also be up to date (for the next year) on my vaccinations when I go home...I am very well mannered and I am litter box trained...I love to play with other cats so...adopt two of us unless you already have a playmate at home for me...Mink is my new best friend...she's a little lonely since her sisters have been adopted...so we are best of buds now! Cats, like all mammals, engage in play as youngsters and continue to do so even after they have grown up. Play is a complex learning activity that helps kittens develop social relationships and helps them hone their physical and mental skills. But it is also fun, which is why adult cat continue to do it. You can spend many enjoyable hours just watching with amusement as your cat plays. You may find her chasing imaginary playmates in her own world of make-believe. Try giving her a paper sack or a box with holes cut into it so that she can invent games for herself. But interactive play is best. How the two of you play together is only limited by your imagination. Cats do not require expensive toys. The best toys are regular items such as ping pong balls (6/$1.50 at Wal-Mart), soda bottle caps, straws, and milk bottle tear off tabs and caps. Visit our Website: www.ppaw.us Our adoption fee is $65 (cash, credit or debit card only-no checks) and includes a Leukemia Test-we are a non-profit organization and we also accept donations. We always need Purina (only) Cat and Kitten Chow, clumping cat litter or dust-free clay litter, bleach and paper towels. All animals are spayed/neutered, wormed and up-to-date on age appropriate shots, prior to leaving our facility. PPAW is a low cost Spay/Neuter clinic; our daily hours change. Please call 865-856-7729 or e-mail [email protected] to check our schedule before coming over to meet Chris.
