Please call/text this number if interested: 814.414.1048 Cat located in this city: Palm Coast, Florida
Cat’s Name: Chloe
Cat’s Age & Sex: female, three years old
Cat’s vetting history (spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped):
spayed, vaccinated, & microchipped
Animals story: (where found and reason for wanting to rehome): My beautiful cat has been my family for a few years now. She is loving and cuddly! Friendly to everyone, including kids. She is an indoor cat, but loves to bask on the patio.
My reason for needing my cats to be rehomed is because my son and family are allergic. I have a two year old son and his allergies toward the cats are getting worse. This is not an easy decision to make, but it’s what is best for my family.
Personality (shy, social, likes to be held, lap cat? Likes or dislikes): Chloe is a bit more reserved but when she warms up, she loves to be pet! She loves to be in the sun. We have a patio so she enjoys spending time outside.
Any Supplies that go with pet (food, litter, leash, cat box, bedding, toys):
Cat box with swinging lid, a few toys, cat comb & detangling spray, nail clips, etc.
What food is the cat eating (dry only, dry and wet): daily dry food diet, but they do love wet food and treats!
I just learned A LOT from this rescue and realized why Chloe is overweight. ****In next home**** I hope the all-you-can-eat buffet of dry food can be LIMITED so she doesn’t keep gaining weight. This is how I fed her and u didn’t know I should NoT have done this. Hopefully wet food can be given morning and night. Wet food is needed to avoid so many dehydration related health issues and I have a text I can send that explains it more.
:::::::::::Please know that cats need canned wet food given DAILY. Why? Because cats have a low thirst drive and actually NEED the moisture from the wet food! Wet food is 75 % water (dry FOOD only 10%) and giving them wet food daily will help them avoid Urinary tract issues (which can lead to litter box avoidance), kidney disease, obesity issues linked to diabetes and cardiac issues. You will save on vet bills too! Limit the overly processed dry food and ensure cat eats all the wet food daily. At the VERY minimum each cat should get one 3oz. can of wet food a day or HALF of a 5.5oz. can a day (although we recommend double this).

*Please know, that when you bring your newly adopted cat or kitten home, it is always BEST to place him/her in a very small room (bathroom works great) with their litter box, food, water, and bed for a few days to a few weeks. This way the animal can adjust much quicker and get acclimated to the new environment with less stress. All cats/kittens need time to adjust, so if you adopt please allow this. Thank you.
