Chip & Posey (Barn cat placement)

Meet Chip (tuxedo) and Posey (calico) - the bonded spirit cats! These two love birds love spending days together sitting in the sun, cuddling, doing the zoomies thing and yes - even hunting together. Posey takes the front seat in their relationship! She most definitely calls the shots, and Chip follows along happily. They both love catnip and Churu brand lickable treats (served in a dish of course). Posey is an amazing hunter and will bring Chip all of her finest catches. When it comes to humans these two prefer to keep their distance. They are very scared and will respond out of fear if they feel threatened. Sadly, they both came from a colony that has since been completely removed so now they are with us while we find long term placement. From our assessments we feel Chip and Posey would love to be adopted as spirit cats and so here we are. Spirit cats are cats who are social but who prefer the company of other cats and animals over humans. These cats are happy to leave under a roof but will avoid contact with their family/caregivers until they trust them. They often will not become lap cats or cats who enjoy touch. We feel Chip and Posey would make great Barn Cats - but proper structed adjustment time to the environment, adequate set up and regular feeding/vetting is a MUST!
