The farmer had taken good care of Cheeks and the other cats on the farm with the exception of spaying and neutering and thus, the population quickly became an issue for the farmer. We took in ten cats from this project with a few that turned out to be pregnant. Cheeks was one of those few. On April 5, 2024, Cheeks gave birth to five kittens, three of which were stillborn. Her two live births are thriving and ready to find their forever homes which means, so is momma Cheeks. Cheeks is a fabulous young cat - she's friendly and social. She is great with other cats, young and old. She's a bit of a free spirit as she likes to roam around and see what's going on, sometimes joining in, and other times just watching from the sidelines. She's not a huge fan of being held for too long but she is affectionate and enjoys being groomed. If you're looking for a young cat that is a bit independent, Cheeks might be just the cat for you.
