Please note Chatty is a community cat who really wants t live inside or at a minimum be indoor/outdoor. This would be a direct adoption through her caretaker Judy. Please contact Judy directly [email protected] Hi, my name is Judy Dulaney and I am seeking a home for Chatty For the past 10 years I've been taking care of assorted community cats - trapping, feeding, petting when possible, getting some into foster homes through my local cat rescue. Right now I have 7 regulars and 6 "occasionals." But now I have Chatty - she appeared out of nowhere the end of January and immediately took to me. I have kept her mainly on my back sun porch. Very friendly, playful, etc. I have tried to get her into a foster program from two local rescues I use but it's been a long kitten season and there's understandably no room. With the heat wave I have moved her to a spare bedroom and she uses the box and acclimated perfectly. I took Chatty to get fixed and it turned out she was already spayed. She got the rest of her shots and they estimate she is 3-4years old. I tried to post locally about a lost cat but to no avail. I know she would make a great only house cat for someone - I don't even think she needs a foster - she'll probably hide for a few days until she realizes all is well and she has her food, toys and litter box. I know many rescues have to just turn lost/dumped housecats away to survive outside because there is no room but I am hoping things will be different for Chatty. I am desperate to help her.
