No, Chat-Shki is not having a bad hair day:~) This is a purebred Selkirk Rex, born May 14, 2008. He and his littermates (two orange creams and two blues) were given to our rescue at a recent cat show. Their senior owner was experiencing serious health problems and could no longer care for the kittens. She knew we would find them loving, permanent homes.
If you're not familiar with the breed, do a google search and read about them. They're amazing cats, not just their unique appearance, but their tolerant nature, much like the Persians in their ancestry. They're little cuddle bugs, or cuddle bears;~) Look like a child's toy, but these kitties are living, loving companions. They'll be spayed and neutered soon, and ready to go to their new homes. You can pre-adopt now, and be assured of the kitten of your choice.
