My Story

Hello there, I'm Charlie! If you're looking for a steadfast companion, I'm your guy. I will love to follow you around, rubbing on your legs to tell you to pet me. If you give me a chin, head, or booty scratch, I will be very happy and reward you with a low rumbling purr. Just please don't touch my tummy! My days are filled with curiosity, exploring every nook and cranny of my surroundings, and can entertain myself if you're not home. I typically enjoy playing alone, however, I do like to play peek-a-boo in my tube! I might be found on my cardboard scratching board or basking in the sunlight. I've been told I have a gentle soul and a mellow demeanor, which makes me a great companion. I will always, without fail, greet you with a short, welcoming meow. I am very talkative, my humans think I may talk too much but what do they know? My goofiness is endearing, they say. I'm loyal, like a dog, always sticking by those I care about. I am definitely a people's cat, but don't seem to mind other cats. I would love to go home with you! Fosters are like bridges between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save cats and dogs before they are euthanized at the shelters.
