Charles was abandoned by his owner in the cold, left crammed in a carrier on the porch of a local resident. He has been with the shelter a lot longer than most cats because he tends to quieter than the others. A very gentle cat. Being abandoned in a too small carrier, he now has a fear of carriers and can be fearful when anyone reaches over his head. Our goal is a fit that benefits both the cat and the home! ** We DO give preference to applicants with verifiable pet experience. All cats are spayed/neutered, FeLV/FIV negative unless otherwise indicated. All cats are up to date on age appropriate vaccinations. All of our resident cats use their litter boxes unless otherwise indicated. Cats are naturally inclined to use a litter box. Cat Fact: If a domestic cat is not using a litter box THEY ARE TRYING TO TELL YOU SOMETHING IS WRONG! It should never be ignored! Your cat is depending on you for help.
