Celeste has been homeless for too long and could really use your help. Please read her history below, and let us know if you can show this gentle, jet black beauty what it means to have a forever home filled with love and attention. She would be so grateful!
Celeste was brought in as a stray to the local SPCA on 1/9/08. She obviously had a home at one time because she was well cared for, friendly, and in good health. Celeste is in beautiful condition, with gorgeous, silky black fur and warm, alert brown eyes. She is litter trained and an excellent housekeeper, keeping her cage neat and tidy at all times. She loves exercise time out of her cage to run and explore.
On 2/24/08, Celeste gave birth, unexpectedly, to 4 beautiful babies. She was immediately taken out of the shelter and taken into foster care with Luv-n-Bunns. Celeste still has one remaining baby, Pom, still waiting for her furever home
All of our rabbits are spayed/neutered upon adoption, and our adoption fee includes the surgery, as well as a vet check-up and a packet of rabbit care information. We adopt rabbits to indoor homes only, where they will be part of a family and safe from outdoor dangers. Please learn about proper rabbit care before deciding to adopt. Rabbits are NOT easy, low maintenance, “starter” pets! To learn more, go to www.rabbit.org or read the book, Rabbits for Dummies.
Please, folks, tell everyone you know to go to a shelter or rescue group if they want to adopt a rabbit (or any other small animal or bird). Pet stores buy baby bunnies from breeders, much like puppy mills, where rabbits are housed and cared for inhumanely. Heaven knows, we don’t need any more rabbits being bred with so many homeless ones already out there. Thanks for caring.
