I am not a child of the 80s, nor do I long for Pat Benatar's hard rock sound. However, the name Cat Benatar is undeniably cute! I am a 4-year-old Tortoiseshell girl who arrived with 19 other cats from a crowded shelter. I feel lucky to be at the HSHC because the rooms are so nice, and I love the staff and volunteers. I am now staying in a Roaming Room, which is fantastic-windows, cat trees, other cats, and water fountains! I am already spayed and thoroughly litterbox trained. When the interviewer lady came to ask me questions, I gave her headbutts, nose kisses, and loud purrs. I flopped onto my side for more pets. She exclaimed when she saw my white eyelashes! I guess that is a little unusual. To summarize our conversation, we decided we liked each other very much and that someone would be fortunate to add me to their household. 5-30-24
