My Story

FILL OUT AN APPLICATION AT YVPR.ORG/CATADOPTIONAPPLICATION WE CAN NOT REPLY TO INQUIRIES SENT VIA PETFINDER . Hello there, I'm Cashmere! Born on May 8th, 2024, I've spent my days frolicking with my siblings, Prince, Jack, Gus, and Cinderella. We're a lively bunch, but I've always had my unique charm. I'm sweet and friendly, always ready to greet you with a playful purr. My energy is contagious, and I'm always up for a game of chase or a good old-fashioned play fight. But don't worry, I'm also quite independent. I enjoy my alone time as much as I love company. I'm the perfect balance of playful and independent, making me a great companion for anyone. A few more things about me, I am totally boxed trained, like to be brushed, I don't even mind my nails trimmed. Adopt me and let's create beautiful memories together! An application must be filled out and accepted before a meet/greet can be set up. http://yvpr.org/catadoptionapplication.html) If accepted, you will hear from us within 72 hours. You will have the opportunity to ask questions before you meet the pet; an adoption may or may not happen at that time. We do adopt outside the Yakima area IF you are able to come to Yakima to pick up your adopted pet. We do not have a kennel facility; all of our pets are in foster homes. Meet/greets and adoptions take place at a site chosen by the adoption coordinator. If the cat you wanted to adopt is no longer available, please fill out an application anyway because adoptions don't always go through and it may be relisted. Your application will be kept on file for 30 days in case you find another pet you'd like to apply for. The adoption fee covers vaccinations and worming. Flea treatment and veterinary care will be provided if necessary. If you are from out of town you will need a pre-paid spay/neuter receipt from your own veterinarian.
