My Story

All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped. * If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application. Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.Our Cars trio are three brothers who were rescued inside of a car engine. How they survived we have no idea but when a good samaritain called us for help in rescuing them, our volunteers sprang into action. They have been fostered in a home with two resident cats and have done great with them. At 13 weeks old, they are ready to find their forever homes. Here are some special qualities about each of them. Carrera - He is the brave one of the bunch. He gets along great with the adult kitties and loves to explore every nook and cranny of his foster home. He is also food motivated so we think he could be taught tricks and would enjoy cat puzzles. He would be a great companion for an existing cat in the home or even a cat savvy dog. Hudson - He is a people kitten. His foster home reports he is the first to respond when you call him. He loves to be held and is a purring machine. He would be a great match for a home with another cat and/or kitty experienced kids. He is social and affectionate. McQueen - He is pretty laid back. It takes him a minute to warm up to his humans, but once he does, he is an affectionate little guy. He is very playful and wants to be with everyone, but he also can hang by himself too. He has a nicely balanced temperament plus he is cute as a button. They have been neutered, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, flea treatment applied and microchipped. Their adoption fee is $200 per kitten or $350 for a pair. Get your motor running and apply to adopt one of these fabulous boys today!
