Canned Yams

Canned Yams isn’t just for the holidays! This handsome young man breezed through a serious illness and settled happily into his foster home -- in fact, he immediately acted like he’d always been there! Social and confident to a fault, nothing gives this boy pause (except the vacuum, which he tries to fight, much to the amusement of his foster family). Yams has even been described as a malinois in a cat body! He loves to play with spring toys, crinkle balls, and any lure toy he can chase and leap after. Ice cubes are also high on his list! He will play tug, too, and can easily leap five feet in the air. He definitely needs another active cat to help with his energy. But at the end of the day, this doll of a kitty loves to cuddle on a soft blanket where he makes the best muffins around and even adorably suckles against the fabric (Sherpa is his favorite). He’s also a big ankle-winder and will solicit plenty of pets! Yams is very curious about dogs and would do fine with a polite dog friend with some time to get used to each other. He is fine with small humans, too! Yams is just the total package -- how could you ask ask for more? Estimated DOB: 8/07/2023
