My Story

KITTEN POLICIES APPLY!! All kittens under 12 months will only be adopted into homes that either has at least one other kitten/young cat under three years of age or the adopter must be willing to adopt a second kitten/young cat. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!

Cahill is a five to six month old ragdoll-Maine Coon kitten (age current as of 12-28-08). He is a medium to long haired red tabby & white bi-color. He is neutered, FIV/FELV negative and has been microchipped, wormed, vaccinated, ad flea treated. This baby came to us from an accidental breeding - a young couple purchased a Maine Coon female and a ragdoll male, waited too long to spay/neuter their cats, who ended up having a litter of kittens. The couple discovered that caring for a litter of young kittens is hard and expensive work, so they released the babies into rescue. Cahill is an extremely sweet baby - he loves attention, loves to cuddle and loves people. In fact, if he can't find you, Cahill will call out until you come a'runnin! lol! He gets along great with other cats and with dogs. Cahil is being fostered in AUSTIN (along with Hepburn). Adoption donation - $175. Sorry, we do not ship our cats or provide any transportation. All potential adopters should reside in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, or Louisiana. We will not adopt outside of those states.

Who We Are: We are a not-for-profit organization who is committed to helping Persians, Himalayans, exotic shorthairs, and ragdolls. All of our expenses are funded by personal and private donations. All of our cats are kept in foster homes - please note, we do not have a shelter facility, so appointments must be made prior to visiting foster homes. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, wormed, de-fleaed, and vaccinated prior to adoption.

Adoption Process: We require all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application prior to setting up an appointment to visit with the cat(s). We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. If you email us, we will provide you with an application - either by email or by mail.

Adoption Fees: Our adoption donation for persian, himalayan, exotic shorthair, ragdoll and Maine Coon breeds are as follows: for an adult cat is $150, a kitten is $175 to $275 - depending on age, gender, and breed of kitten. Other breeds may have differing adoption donation amounts. We occasionally have reduced fees - these will be noted on the individual cat's listing. If someone adopts more then one cat from us, we will reduce the subsequent adoption fee(s) by $25 to $50 (depending on age of cats/kittens adopted). The adoption fees help defray SOME of the costs associated with rescuing/fostering these kitties. Please note: if someone places a deposit on a cat/kitten to "hold" them until they are ready to go home, and the person changes their mind, the deposit is non-refundable - it is only refundable if the cat/kitten become unadoptable for some reason.

Donations are always welcome!
