With patience, understanding, and a gentle touch, Butterball is sure to blossom into the affectionate and loving companion she was always meant to be. In a peaceful and nurturing environment, Butterball will have the opportunity to show her true self and share her quiet love and companionship with a lucky family willing to welcome her into their hearts and home. She has FIV, which means she has a weaker immune system than most cats. FIV cats can live a long, happy life, but should not go to a home with FIV-negative cats. If you are interested in meeting/adopting Butterball, fill out an application at apl-shelter.org (for adopting) or come meet him in person at the Animal Protective League, 1001 Taintor Road in Springfield. The APL is open every day from noon to 5 p.m.
