My Story

Meet beautiful Bunny! She may not be a pure-bred Japanese Bobtail, but with her little rabbit-like tail-nub and her gorgeous calico markings, she certainly looks the part. We thought she might be too shy at first, but with a few bowls of food and some meat on her bones, Bunny has blossomed into a very charming, civilized cat. She is dainty and delicate, asking nicely before hopping into your lap, and her gentle demeanor belies her former life on the street. That's ancient history for Bunny, who is very much a house cat now, thank you very much!

Bunny has gone through a lot so far in her life, so she does appreciate a bit of patience as she decides for herself that you are a person to trust. But after two or three minutes of sniffing your toes, she will head-butt your hands for a head massage or a belly rub. She is very into affection -- giving it and receiving it -- and will let you know how much she appreciates you with a big purr. She would probably do well with one other calm cat, and would be absolutely fine on her own.

Bunny is spayed, up to date on shots, and FIV/FeLV negative. She is flea-free and otherwise healthy! Please email [email protected] to request an application to adopt this sweet and loving girl.
